History in the Making
'Delphia (pronounced: dĕl - fīe - yä) Productions was started up after one of it's highly anticipated events, Club Christ, when seeing the impact it left on the congregation and in the community for all ages in attendance experiencing a move of God in a new galvanizing way, through Holy Hip-Hop. Stoney Hill (Stoney), Kylus Jackson (Ky9), Marcus Holland (MarkXI), Karon Jackson (Karon) [pronounced: khä - rŏn], and Anthony Woodard, Jr. (ManMan) saw that they needed to stick together more often and continue creating God inspired salvation music that was just as influential as many of the secular artist, and as many of the established Christian/Inspirational artist as well. They would not stand by and continue to watch our generation be deceived any longer. Being members of Philadelphia Independent (Non-denominational) C.O.G.I.C, they felt it only right to be a "branch off of the tree" they were connected with in order to establish their name as 'Delphia (again, pronounced: dĕl - fīe - yä) Productions. The name Philadelphia, as it relates to scriptural understanding regarding the Church in Philadelphia ("faithful") in Revelation 3:7-13, and as a general meaning of the name ("brotherly love") of most peoples' understanding of it, holds significant meanings that we take to heart as the foundation for which we stand on and pride ourselves on upholding. As witnesses and ministers of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, 'Delphia Productions is a Bible based and God fearing production called to bring "Holy Hip Hop At Its Best" to those who are open to the message of the gospel and to those in need of hearing some good news from the Kingdom by kingdom inspired artist.
